Enjoy live music at lunchtime! Bring your lunch and enjoy short, engaging performances by musicians from JH’s Peabody Institute at the Zayed Arcade at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
On April 23rd, the student composer/performers of the Peabody Improvisers Collective will transform the jumble of hospital sounds into an engaging soundscape with their Live@Lunchtime concert at JHH. This concert will happen simultaneously in three locations: on the Main Loop near Balducci’s, in the Weinberg Ceremonial Lobby, and in the hallways in between.
Together, these three groups of musicians will seek to reorganize the mechanical, cluttered, and even oppressive ambient noise of the hospital into a unique one-time experimental musical event in line with our true goals in healthcare: healing, connection, and service.
