Music for a While brings the healing power of music to the hospital environment. The Peabody Institute and Johns Hopkins Medicine together have created site-specific programs in high-stress contexts, providing arts experiences to help reduce anxiety, alleviate pain, promote wellness, and improve patient and staff experiences.
Enjoy music on Wednesday, December 4th between 2:00 and 4:00pm on the Plaza Level of JHOC.
- 2 – 2:30pm: Guest William Bowers playing the violin. William Bowers is a JHU student and will be hosted by Evan Losoya, who will be playing the piano.
- 2:30 – 3pm: Evan Losoya playing the piano.
- 3 – 3:30pm: Andres Palacios Rodas playing the guitar.
- 3:30 – 4pm: Guest Laura Hanyok playing the clarinet. Laura Hanyok is a physician and will be hosted by Andres Palacios Rodas, who will be playing the guitar.
