Music for a While – Guest Week

Music for a While brings the healing power of music to the hospital environment. The Peabody Institute and Johns Hopkins Medicine together have created site-specific programs in high-stress contexts, providing arts experiences to help reduce anxiety, alleviate pain, promote wellness, and improve patient and staff experiences.
Enjoy music on Monday, December 2nd between 3:00 and 5:00pm in the Weinberg Lobby.
- 3 – 3:30pm: Guest Loren Ludwig playing the viola de gamba. Loren Ludwig is JHU faculty and Program Coordinator of the Program in Arts, Humanities, & Health (hosted by Scott George, guitar)
- 3:30 – 4pm: Guest Ian Gilley playing guitar. Ian Gilley is Program Coordinator with JHHS Service Excellence. This session is hosted by Scott George, also playing guitar.
- 4 – 4:30pm: Guest Ann Marie Nolan playing violin. Ann Marie Nolan is a SOM student. This session is hosted by Kaede Shimizu who will be providing vocals.
- 4:30 – 5pm: Kaede Shimizu, providing vocals.
