Music for a While brings the healing power of music to the hospital environment. The Peabody Institute and Johns Hopkins Medicine together have created site-specific programs in high-stress contexts, providing arts experiences to help reduce anxiety, alleviate pain, promote wellness, and improve patient and staff experiences.
Enjoy music on Thursday December 5th between 9:00 and 11:00am on the Plaza Level of JHOC.
- 9 – 9:30 am: Guest Nicole Page playing the flute. Nicole Page is a SOM student. She will be hosted by Matthew Rygelski playing the clarinet.
- 9:30 – 10 am: Guest Nes Matthiousdakis playing the violin. Nes Matthiousdakis is a physician and will be hosted by Matthew Rygelski playing the clarinet.
- 10 – 10:30am: Guest Nes Matthioudakis playing the violin. Nes Matthiousdakis is a physician and will be hosted by Deer Ma playing the saxophone.
- 10:30 – 11am: Guest Qiao Huang playing the saxophone. Qiao Huang is a Cardiology Research Tech and alumnus of MFAW. The session will be hosted by Deer Ma playing the saxophone.
